Monday I stayed overnight in
Flagstaff, a town located between Sedona and the Grand Canyon. On Tuesday I
took a 2 hour drive from Flagstaff to the famous Horseshoe Bend. Though it is
very touristic, it definitely is a sight to see. Once arrived at the parking
lot, you’ll have to walk for about 0.5 miles to get to the Horseshoe Bend. Be
prepared for a walk in the desert heat, take some water with you.
After admiring Horsehoe Bend for
while I went to have some lunch at a yummy Chinese restaurant in Page. And then
I was on my way to Zion National Park. It was a beautiful drive through the
ever-changing landscape of Arizona and Utah.
I loved seeing Lake Powell again, I've been here two years ago, and I think it is really unique.

I enjoyed driving through Zion
National Park and stepped out of my car every now and then to capture the
beauty of that piece of earth. Unfortunately before heading to Monument valley,
I had a car accident, nothing bad, just a guy who was driving out of his
parking lot, me driving on the street, no chance to elude. He didn’t notice me,
although I honked like crazy. And then he hit the backside of my car, luckily
just some scratches, nothing worse. I’m fine.

Once the other driver and I clarified the situation I took
a long drive to Monument Valley, where I arrived at 9.30 p.m., exhausted but
happy. On that day I’ve been to three different time zones, crazy isn’t it?
