Sanibel Island

We arrived on Sanibel Island at night, after a long day of driving from Key West over the Everglades to the West Coast of Florida. So we were pretty pleased when we woke up the next morning, realizing the beach was only a few steps away.

Our apartment at the Sanibel Inn was so pretty and we loved our two nights stay there.

We made a day trip to Naples a lovely town a little more down south-west of Sanibel Island.

Finally I got to eat a caramel apple, such a delicious treat I craved for a very long time ;)

We made it back to Sanibel Island just in time for a pretty spectacular sunset.

After we’ve been spoiled by nature and its wonders we headed out for dinner at an Italian restaurant.

The next day it was already time to say goodbye to beautiful Sanibel, but before we drove around the island to have a delicious breakfast and explore some other places.
