Finally
I found time to update my blog. It’s been a busy week and I know I’m way behind
with blogging, bear with me. The last two days at Yellowstone National Park
were incredible. We’ve visited some basins and geysers.
We
even went on a beautiful hike up to Mallard Lake and watched out for bears but
seen none.
The water was cristal clear at the shore.
After the hike we had a quick picnic
and hurried to see Old Faithful blow up. It is very touristy, since everyone
wants to see that geyser erupt, but it was amazing and fascinating anyway.
Yellowstone has so many gorgeous
sights to offer and one of these are definitely the Norris Basin, Porcelain
Basin and the Grand Prismatic Basin. The colors are the most beautiful blueish and
reddish. The bluer the water is, the warmer is the temperature of the spring. The
springs get their color from thermophiles that burgeon in hot temperatures.
Porcelain Basin.
