Seattle

Shortly before arriving in Seattle, we got a text message from our Airbnb host, that we would have to wash the bed sheets first and then put them on by ourselves. We were dumbfounded. How could it be possible, that a host treats his guests like this? Ok, I mean there are worse things in the world, but as a guest even while doing Airbnb, you expect a certain standard of how you want to be treated, especially when you are exhausted and tired from travelling all day. So we once again had to decide whether or not to cancel our Airbnb booking or not. We decided not to go and searched for a hotel instead. We went to see about 3 hotels, till we finally found one that wasn’t fully booked. don't think we didn't look up the reviews, they were all good and we booked it over a month in advance. Frustrated and stressed out once again, we checked in and went out for dinner. It turned out to be a fun dinner with the best pizza we ever had, some glass of a good rosé. We laughed so much and calmed down and arranged with the situation we were put in.
The next day we went on an underground tour to see the buried part of the city. It was nice and interesting, though we thought it would be more eerie.

We saw the world’s first Starbucks.
We got on the observation deck of the Space Needle and enjoyed the beautiful evening mood and the vistas over the city.
