When summer turns to winter in San Francisco

The plan was to bike the Golden Gate Bridge and to go on a sunset sail in the evening. We knew we could do the biking tour, but there was some serious problem with the sailing… It was freaking cold guys! So we had to prepare ourselves and went shopping. We shopped hats, fleece and gloves. Yep, I’m not kidding. I mean it was cloudy all the time and between 10-15 degrees Celsius, which felt like 0-5 degrees with the wind. Actually I knew it would be chilly in San Francisco, but I never thought it would be that cold.

Oh and just so I warned you, there might be a picture overload of the Golden Gate Bridge, couldn't help myself, i love it.
This is what we got.
Finally we were ready to go drive our rental bikes. We enjoyed being sportive and had fun driving over the Golden Gate Bridge.
Once we were back in the city, we went out for dinner in Chinatown. With our bellies filled with yummy food, we were ready to participate on that sunset sailing cruise. I took some medicine in advance, so I won’t get seasick, didn’t help much, well I felt alright on the boat, but once we were back on land and in bed, it felt like being on water in bed, so I felt dizzy the whole night and couldn’t really sleep. But we had much fun anyway on the boat and enjoyed the beautiful vistas of the city and once more the Golden Gate Bridge. I’m sure, we saw that thing from all perspectives that day. It was an amazing day.
We got pretty close to Alcatraz.

Aaand we really lucked out with the weather that evening, we saw a really beautiful sunset.
It was a nice goodbye to my favorite city.
