A brunch in the city and some fall sighting

Today was the perfect day. It started with a delicious brunch at the Hiltl restaurant with one of my best friends. The Hiltl is definitely a favorite place of mine to eat in Zurich, it’s a vegetarian restaurant and offers various yummy foods at the buffet or à la carte. You can have breakfast/brunch every day, not only on Saturday or Sunday.

After we enjoyed our brunch, we headed to the Modissa Rooftop Bar, to have some tea and take in the view from up there.

We drank our tea and then took a stroll through the old part of the city, stopped by at Lindenhof to enjoy the view over the Limmat and the houses and rooftops. I love Zurich.

Since it was my day off and the weather was cloudy but nice, I went home, took my camera and went out again to catch some fall colors. Well the colors are not as bright yet, but it was gorgeous. There is something special about wandering through old and beautiful stomping grounds and enjoying the beauty of nature there.

I hopped in my car again and drove towards where I live now, a pretty lake, called Türlersee, close to where I'm living.
