Martha's Vineyard is an island located south of Cape Cod. My trip there was one
of my absolute favorite so far. It will take you 40 minutes by car to get from
West Yarmouth to Woods Hole, where the ferry departs. You can park your car
near the station or a little bit more far away, then you’ll be brought to the
station by a shuttlebus. From Woods Hole a ferry will bring you in 30 minutes to
Vineyard Haven on Martha’s Vineyard. A roundtrip ticket from Woods Hole will
cost you about 17 dollars.

It was cloudy and windy, but when I arrived, luckily the sun came out and the weather was pretty nice.
One of the best ways, at least for me, to explore the island, was by bicycle. I rented mine at Martha’s Bike Rentals. They were very friendly and helpful and gave me tips on sights. There are different routes. Mine led me to Telegraph Hill with a lighthouse in East Chop and then to Oak Bluffs, a town located on the island. I loved it there. I didn’t try any food, but I’m sure, all who love seafood, will find something delicious to eat. I explored Oak Bluffs a little and it was absolutely nice.
My favorite part was
seeing the Martha’s Vineyard Campground Association in Oak Bluffs. It’s a religious community
that was founded in 1835. Its history goes back to camp meetings of the
Presbyterian, Methodist and Baptist church. The colorful houses are arranged in
a circle. Looking at the lovely houses, it felt like stepping back in time and
going in to another world, it was fascinating.

I know that's a picture overload, but bear with me, don't you think these houses are totally unique?
